Our Student Ambassadors are responsible for representing the school at events and can be called upon to make public speeches. They also serve as a role model for students and may share other students' ideas with the school's leadership. They may also be expected to lead fellow leaders in their duties.
Some students serve at Church as Altar Servers. Everyone is responsible for collecting food/donations, assisting Mrs Bellamy with school liturgies.
Our Cultural Leaders are responsible for setting a high-quality example of how to treat others and will lead others to celebrate the different languages and cultures in our school during Language Weeks.
St Joseph’s School is on it’s journey in becoming a sustainable school. 2022 will see our leaders helping with this journey. These children are passionate about the environment and about being sustainable role models for our school.
We have a lovely library at Joseph’s. These monitors work with the teachers to keep our library tidy and in order. They also work during lunchtimes during the week to run our library for the other students to use.
These students encourage House Spirit and lead key whole school events such as athletic sports. These students set a good example and support the Sports Co-ordinator ( Mr Ioka). Children will also read at Mass too.
These students are role models to all of the other students at school and help to make positive improvements for learning in our school. They help to gather and then share student voice from the whole school so that all students can be involved in decision making and consistently live the St Joseph’s School values.
